Abstract – scaricare il file per l’appunto completo George Gordon (Lord) Byron was born in 1788 and was educated at Harrow and Cambridge where, between his studies, he lived a dissolute life. His first collection of poems Hours of Idleness appeared in 1807 and was immediately subject to controversy. While travelling around southern Europe he began the poem that was to become Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage.
