MTV VMA 2019: artisti

Come ogni fine estate tornano gli MTV VMAs (manifestazione musicale organizzata da MTV e che premia i videoclip più belli degli ultimi 12 mesi), questa volta in scena lunedì 26 agosto 2019 al Prudential Center Newark di New York. Nella lista degli artisti in nomination figurano Ariana Grande e Taylor Swift che hanno più candidature di tutti (10 in totale), tra le quali per “Videos of the Year”, “Song of the Year” e “Best pop”. “È stato un anno incredibile per la musica – ha commentato Bruce Gillmer, Head of Music and Music Talent, Global Entertainment Group, Viacom – e le nomination di quest’anno riflettono perfettamente il ricco panorama pop internazionale. Non vediamo l’ora di vedere tutte le premiazioni. Sarà una serata fantastica e indimenticabile”. Ecco chi si esibirà:

MTV VMA 2019: categorie

Oltre alle categorie classiche, quest’anno l’emittente musicale ne ha annunciate due nuove: “Best K-Pop” e “Video for Good”. Fino al prossimo 15 agosto il pubblico potrà votare i cantanti preferiti in 14 categorie di genere neutro (ormai non c’è più la divisione per categorie maschili e femminili) sul sito ufficiale vma.mtv.com. Per il secondo anno consecutivo i telespettatori potranno chiedere ad Alexa di “votare i VMA” per la categoria “Artist of the Year”, inoltre le votazioni per il premio “Best New Artist” resteranno attive fino alla serata delle premiazioni.
