L’ansia per gli studenti del liceo linguistico si è conclusa; seduti tra i banchi di scuola hanno svolto un tema sul viaggio, ovviamente in lingua inglese. L’argomento è sembrato molto interessante, e anche molto attuale; a chi non piace viaggiare? Chi non coglie, quando può, qualsiasi occasione per fare le valigie e partire per una destinazione lontana? Evidentemente anche il Miur la pensa in questo modo e ha dato agli studenti la possibilità di esprimersi sull’argomento anche in lingua inglese. Il tema scelto per la seconda prova del liceo linguistico è molto attuale e coinvolge tutti, grandi e piccini. Viaggiare è uno stile di vita, un’esigenza ed è un modo per evadere dai problemi quotidiani che ci affliggono. Evidentemente anche il Miur e il Ministro dell’Istruzione provano queste sensazioni nei confronti del viaggio e hanno deciso di sottoporre gli studenti ad una prova in cui poter dare libero sfogo ai propri pensieri su un argomento bello come questo, viaggiare.

Traveling is a strong and exciting life experience, it is a contact with a new world, new culture, new people. Taking a trip means leaving your own home and looking for new emotions. Travel is a lifestyle, a need and a way to escape from the daily problems that afflict us. Today it is not difficult to travel, everyone can do it, What we need is a boarding pass, a suitcase and a lot of thirst for knowledge. You don’t travel just to be tourists, You travel to connect mentally with other people, other cultures and other worlds. The moment you arrive in a new place the first sensation one experiences is loss, especially in places where the spoken language is different than ours. This feeling of loss is interrupted immediately, sometimes it takes very little to feel at home; a look can make us feel at home, a smile can make us feel less alone, a greeting and a word of comfort can save our day. The moment we reach this balance, we can say with certainty that we have found another place in the world, a place that is not our home but that still makes us feel protected. Everyone should take a trip at least once a month, meet new people and realize that you can do and be anyone you want.
